Conditions of sale
The official version of these conditions is the French version, available on the FR page. The translation below is provided for convenience only.
These General Conditions of Sale apply, without restriction or reservation, to any hotel-room booking made by the client on the Hotel's website. The client must read them before booking and accept them in order to validate the reservation. They are accessible at any time on the Hotel's website. The version applicable to the client's purchase is the one in force at the date of the reservation. Validation of the booking entails full and unreserved acceptance of these terms.
Cancellation conditions
You may cancel your reservation through the link provided at the end of your confirmation email, following the on-screen instructions. Booking fees, if any, are non-refundable. We recommend cancelling as soon as possible once the reason for cancellation arises.
Booking
Non-cancellable, non-refundable, non-modifiable rates
Reservations with prepayment cannot be modified or cancelled. Amounts paid in advance (deposits) are not refunded. This is mentioned in the rate's sale conditions.
Flexible rates
- Free cancellation up to 1 day before arrival (before 12:00 local time).
- In case of no-show or late cancellation, the total amount of the first night will be charged.
- For each reservation, a pre-authorisation will be made on the payment card provided.
- The card used for the online reservation must be presented on arrival.
Rates are quoted in Euros, taxes included.
Any change to the applicable VAT rate will automatically be reflected in the rates indicated on the date of invoicing. The same applies to any modification or introduction of new legal or regulatory taxes imposed by the competent authorities.
The city tax is not included and is payable on site.
Photo ID will be requested on arrival.
The hotel does not accept cheques.
Reservations are nominative and may not be transferred to a third party, whether free of charge, against payment, or for commercial purposes.
Means of payment
The Company accepts:
- cash (Euros only), only on site at the Hotel, and for amounts under €1,000 for clients with French tax residency or for professional bookings;
- credit cards, on site, on the booking platform, or via secure payment link: Visa, Mastercard, American Express;
- bank transfer to the Company's bank details, communicated upon express request of the client by email to reservation@hotelbaume.com (transfer fees borne entirely by the payer), subject to the Company's specific agreement.
The Company does not accept payments by bank cheque or traveller's cheque.
Prepayments may be made by any of the methods above. The balance is settled on arrival in cash or by card.
Consumer mediator
After contacting the establishment's management at reservation@hotelbaume.com, and failing a satisfactory reply within 60 days, you may refer the matter to the Tourism and Travel Mediator at www.mtv.travel.
The hotel also informs the client of the European Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.
Telephone marketing opt-out
You may also subscribe free of charge to the Bloctel service: www.bloctel.gouv.fr.
Right of withdrawal
In accordance with article L 221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the client does not benefit from the right of withdrawal provided for in article L 221-18, given the nature of the services supplied. The contract is therefore concluded definitively upon the client's booking under the conditions set out herein.
Applicable law and jurisdiction
These terms of use are governed by French law. Save for any mandatory legal provision to the contrary, any dispute concerning the content or use of the site falls within the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts.
